Body Nurture General Data Protection Regulation Policy

Data is processed lawfully, fairly and transparently

We will never disclose any data we hold to any one else

We will never discuss your personal data with anyone else – unless we have your permission.  For instance a health professional.

Data is collected only for specific legitimate purposes

Data is collected so that we may contact you from time to time regarding the day to day running of our business – new classes/workshops/class cancellations/payments due/bookings etc

Data held is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary

Data held is limited to contact details, DOB and brief medical details where appropriate to help us keep you safe during sessions and to enable you gain the maximum benefits from attending sessions Body Nurture. Holding your DOB helps us to gauge which age groups are attending which classes – and we like to wish you a Happy Birthday if you attend Body Nurture on that special day!

Data held must be accurate and kept up to date

Data is regularly reviewed for accuracy – and later in 2018 you will be able to access your data via our online booking system

Data is stored only as long as is necessary

Data is only held for the time you attend sessions – if you have not attended sessions at Body Nurture for a period 6 months your records will be destroyed

We will ensure appropriate security, integrity and confidentiality of your data

Every effort is made to protect your information

Paper based records are kept securely locked away when not in use behind a ’staff only’ restricted access reception desk

Computer based records are password protected, and hand held devices kept locked away when not in use

You can have access to the information we hold about at any time

You can ask us to remove your data from our systems at any time – please email your request to susan@bodynurture.co.uk
